Extended Family Care Homes has been family-owned and operated since 2011. The home was originally established by my father, who began his career working overnight shifts as a Direct Support Professional. Through dedication and hands-on experience, he progressed from DSP to house manager and ultimately opened and operated this Adult Residential Facility.

He built strong, lasting relationships with residents, families, and care teams, creating an environment where individuals felt supported, respected, and capable of growth. Many residents were able to transition to more independent living, while still maintaining meaningful connections over time.

I have been involved with the home since its early days, initially assisting where needed and later working as a Direct Support Professional. Over time, I took on a more active role in operations while also pursuing my education and professional experience in business, pharmacy, corporate training, and retail management—backgrounds that continue to support my approach to structure, organization, and medication oversight.

In 2022, I assumed leadership of the home, continuing the foundation that was built while implementing a hands-on, structured approach to daily operations. I have been an ARF Administrator since 2018 and became a certified RCFE Administrator in 2026.

Today, the home continues to operate with a focus on consistency, compliance, and person-centered care, while maintaining the values it was originally built on—stability, respect, and treating residents like family.
